Something Wicked This Way Comes...

There isn't a lot to say about this shoot, other than the fact that it was the result of many discussion between Abbie and I. We threw around many ideas, but the idea of skeletons in the graveyard struck us as not only particularly spooky, but it got our creative juices flowing.
We decided to shoot at the Salt Lake City Cemetery -- which is one of the largest municipal cemeteries in the Unites States, in case you were wondering -- due to its grandiose size, and the large number of "old timey" headstones to choose from.
Abbie did all of her own makeup. Let me repeat that, ABBIE DID ALL OF HER OWN MAKEUP! It is not airbrushed, I didn't add the skeletal look on afterwards in photoshoot. The ever so talented Miss Abbie did it all herself. Crazy I know! She has got some mad skill.
Lastly, I have to say this was probably the most fun I have ever had on a shoot. Ever. I really felt in my element -- sure it probably helps that Abbie and I, besides having similar names, can practically speak telepathically to one another and are always on the same wavelength. I am so incredibly proud of not only my talented friend, Abbie, but also of how incredibly amazing these photos turned out.
Without a doubt you're going to see more shoots like this coming your way. By that I mean, a little bit of spooky, a little bit dark, and just a little bit of magic; because hey, what's life without a little magic in it? ;]
Abbie and I already have our next shoot planned out. I can't wait to hear what you all think! Please feel free to comment and let me know what you think about the photos! You can do that via my instgram or my facebook page!
