Hello, if you've made it this far I can tell things between us are simply meant to be. You're okay with my inner nerd, and maybe you find her charming and endearing. Quite wonderful, but before things go any further let me introduce myself.

My name is Gabby, short for Gabrielle. Only my mother calls me Gabrielle though, and only when she is cross with me, so lets stick with Gabby shall we? Currently, I reside in the desert oasis of Salt Lake City, Utah. I work, run, read, shop, eat good food with great friends, frequent the movies and kick my boyfriends ass at bowling on a regular basis. Though, I haven't always been a photographer, I was lucky enough to stumble upon my Nikon one day several years ago. Since then I have developed a fierce love for photography and enjoy viewing the world from the view finder of my camera.

Photography gives me the ability to capture a moment in time. Like catching a firefly in a jar, or a butterfly in a net, each one is unique, like every photo, and has it's own story to tell. Each image is not only an expression of myself, but a brief story of each moment, each person, each place as I experienced them. For me, photography is personal, intimate. A small part of myself is in every photo I take.

3. I graduated from the University of Utah with a degree in History.

4. My favorite food is Mexican food. I'd love to taco 'bout it!

5. I have an elvish, as in Lord of the Rings elvish, tattoo. I guess you could say I'm a nerd.

6. My best friend and I are obsessed with ghosts and all things paranormal. If I'm not editing pictures on my computer, I'm probably watching some ghost show on Destination America-it's my ultimate guilty pleasure.

7. I am never without a good book.

8. As much as it pains me to admit this, I'm kind of a hippie. I love all things boho and freepeople. What can I say?

9. If I could pick any other time period to live in, It would have to be during the 18th century and the beginning of the French Revolution. I'm madly in love with French history! Vive la Révolution!

10. I love to travel, experiences new places, new people, and new cultures; but what I love the most is being able to touch history with my own two hands.
