Photography is many things. It's an art, a story, a dance, and a practical tool. It captures a memory and saves it for a rainy day, it expresses emotion, it tells a tale. Photography is an art in the right hands.

Every photo a photographer takes is a snapchat of who they are as an individual. Their thoughts, desires, and deepest secrets. The things they yearn for. Every photographer has their own style, their own technique, their own flair. A specific way they see the world.

For me, photography allows my imagination run free. My thoughts and desires, the way I view the world are strewn across every photo I have ever taken. That sense of freedom I yearn for. That hint of wild and untamed spirit that speaks to my soul. Of course, there is that small sense of magic too; because down to my core I believe that there is magic in this crazy world of ours.

Finding your niche, your groove, your style, can be hard. You have to know yourself-the good, the bad, and the ugly. Photography has allowed me to express my thoughts and desires, and helped me find myself through the journey. While I am sure my desires and vision will change, as I will change, and therefore so will my photography and my style. For now, I am pleased with photographic style-its depth, magic, and spark of wild and untamed spirt. A reflection of the woman I have grown to become, and aspire to be.
